Member of charitable and social organization of men of Scottish descent, which
was founded in 1760 (DC chapter founded in 1855.) Member of the Corps
of Stewards from 1997 to the present; St.
Andrew's Society of DC Newsletter Editor from 1998 to 2001 and from 2006
to present; and Webmaster from 2005 to present.
Fair council member, Program Book editor and designer since 1998; and drafter
of articles of incorporation and by-laws for parent organization Alexandria
Scottish Heritage Educational Foundation.
Re-started Single Malt Whisky Society of the Washington DC area at the Virginia
Scottish Games 2004.
